Day 7 - JAIPUR
Your day starts with an excursion to Amber Fort. You ride up
the ramp of this 11th century bastion atop a gaily decorated
elephant. Later visit the City Palace, a picturesque complex of
palaces and courtyards famous for its collection of Rajput
miniatures, carpets and manuscripts. You also visit the
exquisite Palace of Winds with its honeycombed facade and 18th
century Observatory.
Your afternoon is at leisure. Relax at the
pool or go shopping Jaipur is famous for Gems, Jewellery and
Miniature paintings. Meals and overnight at hotel.
Day 8 - JAIPUR / AGRA
Depart for Agra this morning stopping enroute at Fatehpur
Sikri: a glittering imperial capital conceived and built by the
emperor Akbar. It is filled with red sandstone buildings,
mosques and courtyards. The Pearl Mosque here is designed after
the mosque of Mecca and is a fine blend of Persian and Hindu
architecture. Continue your journey to Agra Synonymous with the
timeless beauty of the Tag Mahal - radiant at noon and amber by
dusk. Check-in at Hotel Mughal Sheraton - situated in the heart
of the city, this splendid red brick edifice blends beautifully
with Agra’s landscape. It is also a recipient of the prestigious
Aga Khan Award for architectural excellence. Your stay is
envisaged at Taj Facing Room. Dinner at NAURATNA named after the
nine jewels of Emperor Akbar’s court, offers the ultimate in

Day 9 - AGRA
Breakfast at SAMOVAR. This morning, you will visit the
world’s greatest love tribute: The TAJ MAHAL, built by Emperor
Shah Jahan for his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal is
closed on Mondays). Mark Twain said of this monument “You cannot
keep your emotions within bounds, when that soaring bubble of
marble breaks upon your view.” Taj Mahal is like a silent
rhapsody that you will carry in your heart. You will also visit
Agra Fort, an impressive cluster of palaces, fortresses and
mosques on the banks of river Yamuna across the Taj Mahal. Your
afternoon is at leisure. Evening enjoy a drink at Maikhana, the
lobby bar, offering an array of sparkling wines and wondrous
concoctions that Mughal Emperors enjoyed. Later see The Taj in
one of its best moods. The white marble looks like gleaming
silver in the moonlight. A sight which you will cherish and hold
close to your hearts for the rest of your life. Dinner at Taj
Bano restaurant where an exquisite buffet is laid out for you.

Day 10 - AGRA / KHAJURAHO
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport to board your flight
for Khajuraho whose remarkable 11th century temples constantly
amaze visitors. Check in at Hotel Chandela. When the Taj Mahal
Hotel made a resplendent debut in Bombay in 1903, even the
venerable times. London was moved to superlatives “the finest
Cararan Sarai in the East.” The Taj Experience had come into
being. Enjoy this experience at Taj Chandela offering swift
comforts, original ambiance, charm and traditional courtesies.
This afternoon visit Khajuraho temple carvings which portray
much more than frank eroticism for which they are famous. The
imposing proportions of the temples and their richly varied
imagery will leave behind lasting impressions. Dinner at Rasana
serving choice continental. Chinese and Indian cuisine.

Day 11 - KHAJURAHO / DELHI
Breakfast at Rhimjhim serving Buffets. Thereafter fly to
Delhi - India’s splendid capital. Founded on the sight of
several cities, it has been the seat of power for centuries.
Today Old and New City combine to present a harmonious whole
offering the traveler elegant shops, broad laburnum lined
avenues, sun warmed elegant forts and mosques that were once
stronghold of Mughal powers and colorful bazaars.
Check in at
hotel The Oberoi, overlooking Delhi Golf Course. Rest of the day
at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 12 - DELHI
This morning you will start a combined city tour of Old and
New Delhi. An aura of history is everywhere in Old Delhi. Red
Fort with its majestic ramparts and Jama Masjid one of Asia’s
largest mosques form the hub. Emperor Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub
Minar complex, dating back to the 12th Century. You will also
make a stop at Rajghat - Mahatma Gandhi’s final resting place.
New Delhi is well planned with wide tree lined avenues,
fountains and parks. Colonial architecture dominates this part
of the city. You will drive along the ceremonial avenues of
Rajpath and view the splendid Presidential Palace, the circular
Parliament House and impressive Diplomatic Enclave.
Your
afternoon is at leisure. Relax by the poolside or indulge in
shopping. This evening you have a date at BUKHARA featuring the
cuisine from North-West frontier. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 - DELHI / GOA
This morning a two and a half hours flight will take you to
an emerald fleck on India’s western shore - GOA, a holiday
makers paradise, sprawling hills, measendering rivers, lush
green fields, miles and miles of virgin beach. Goa has it all.
Check into The Fort Aguada Beach Resort tucked into the hillside
by the sea. Rest of the day relax on the beach. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 14-16 -- IN GOA
Full day at relax on the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17 - GOA / BOMBAY
A 50 minute flight north of Goa takes you to Bombay.
Time free for independent activities. Overnight at the airport
hotel Leela Kempinsky.
Day 18 - DEPART BOMBAY
Your experience comes to an end as you are transferred to
the airport to catch your homeward bound flight.(These
