Day 1 - DELHI
The colour and romance of India greets you as you disembark from your jet in Delhi - India’s splendid capital. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 - DELHI
Full day excursion to Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary with Naturalist.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 - DELHI / BHARATPUR
Depart for Bharatpur by Coach. Upon arrival check in at Forest Lodge.
Afternoon visit the sanctuary by Rickshaw with naturalist.

Often refereed as a Bird Paradise, the Keoladeo National Park at Bharatpur has as many as 350 species of birds in an area of just 29 sq.km. Bharatpur is the nesting ground of over 120 species of birds. But more important it receives winter migrants from Central Asia and Siberia, many of whom travel as much as 6,400 km to reach this wetland reserve.

By October, the migration has begun and thousands of birds descend on Bharatpur. The most descend on Bharatpur. The most eagerly awaited are the winter visitors - The rare Siberian crane which return here annually inspite of ecological destruction enroute on the migration path. During the winter month, large heronries are established and a loud repertoire of bird calls replaces the serenity of summer. It is said that 2,000 painted storks breed in an area of just 2.5 sq. km.

The best time to see bird at Bharatpur is early morning or late evening. A metalled road runs into the park and visitors can hire bicycle or cycle rickshaws from the entry point.

The bird life consists of great and little cormorant, egrets, herons, painted stork, open billed stork, spoonbill, ibis, dalmatan pelican, common crane, paradise fly catcher and crested honey buzzard. In the Mammals - Wild Boar, Sambar, Chital, Blackbuck, Jackals and Hyenas.

Day 4 - BHARATPUR
Early morning visit the Bird Sanctuary & do bird watching by boat with naturalist. Return to forest lodge.
Late afternoon visit the sanctuary & explore the birdlife by rickshaw with naturalist.

Day 5 - BHARATPUR
Early morning visit the Bird Sanctuary & do bird watching by boat with naturalist. Return to forest lodge.
Late afternoon visit the sanctuary & explore the Birdlife by rickshaw with naturalist.

Day 6 - BHARATPUR / AGRA
Depart for Agra by Coach. enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in 1569. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisthi, Panch Mahal and other places. On arrival, check in at hotel.

Afternoon city sightseeing for visiting the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Pearl mosque, the Halls of Public and Private audience. Also the tomb of Itmad -ud-daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.

Day 7 - AGRA / CORBETT

Early morning depart for Corbett by Coach. On arrival, check in at Forest Lodge - This first national park of India was named after the Anglo-Indian hunter of man eating tigers and leopards who became a conservationist. Opt for dawn and dusk elephant safaris through dense forests, some on steep slopes, swift -flowing rivers, grassy plains between the Garhwal and Kumaon Shiwalik ranges.

You might spot a tiger, though they are nocturnal creatures, and see herds of wild elephant resting like charcoalgrey boulders. There are also long-snouted, fish-eating gharial crocodiles and their heavier cousins, the mugger; plenty and sambar, chital, hog and barking deer. More than 400 species of birds inhabit the park.

Day 8 - CORBETT
Am: Explore the park on elephant back with naturalist.
Pm: Explore the park by jeep with naturalist.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 - NAINITAL
Full day bird watching & nature walk with naturalist.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 - NAINITAL/ DELHI

Depart for Delhi by coach.
Upon arrival check -in at hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 - DELHI / AHMEDABAD
Transfer to airport to board flight for Ahmedabad.
Depart Delhi by IC 817 at 0605 hrs
Arrive Ahmedabad at 0730 hrs

Afternoon you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of the city which includes the Hathi Singh Jain Temple, best of the known Jain temples and built by a Jain merchant in 1850.

You will also see the Gandhi Ashram where Mahatma Gandhi lived and worked during the freedom movement.

The Adalajvel an intricately carved step-well. The shaking minarets. Calico museum, the folk art museum and the Sidi Sayyid Mosque with its tracery work seen in the celebrated windows. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 - AHMEDABAD/ BHUJ
Morning transfer to airport to board flight for Bhuj.
On arrival transfer to Garha Safari Lodge.

Day 15 - KHAWDA/TUGA / NEER
You will stay the night at the Khawda Circuit House. AM after breakfast leave for Tug, a small village where Camels await you for your onward journey to the village of Neer. Carry a packed lunch. The journey from Tuga to Neer is 14 kms. Where you will pass the low hills of the region known as Kaladungar. You will also be crossing a few small rivulets. Your stay overnight will be in Tented Camps.

Day 16 - NEER / FLAMINGO CITY
Morning leave Neer for Flamingo City, a distance of 15 kms. Flamingo City is situated on an island known as Banjda Bait. It is the Breeding ground of as much as half a million Flamingos. You will also see Avocets, Pelicans and other waterbirds.

Although the 8 hour journey on Camels through swampy areas of the Great Rann is at times tedious, exhausting and not without a hint of danger, the breathtaking view is worthy every minute of it. You will stay in Camps.

Day 17 - FLAMINGO CITY
Morning and Afternoon spend the entire day bird watching. In this unique city which boasts of having more flamingos than seen at the African lakes like Navasha and Nukuru, you will witness 50 to 60 species of birds in their natural surroundings. It is truly a photographer’s paradise.

Day 18 - FLAMINGO CITY
Morning an afternoon spend the entire day bird watching in and around the city.

Day 19 - FLAMINGO CITY/ NEER
Morning after breakfast leave for Neer. Neer is a small Muslim village inhabited by Simra tribe who tend their cows, buffaloes, sheep and goats. You will stay in tented camps at Neer.

Day 20 - NEER/TUGA/ KHAWDA
Morning after breakfast you will take your journey to Tuga arriving there in time for lunch. Here your Camel safari ends. Afternoon you will take your journey to Khawda by jeep and stay overnight at the circuit house.

Day 21 - KHAWDA/ BHUJ
Morning leave for Bhuj enroute see dhorada village in the Bani area. This area bordering the Rann of Kutch is inhabited by two Muslim tribes, the Jath and Mutwali. While the women do exquisite embroidery on garments the men tend their cows and buffaloes.
